When you have spent valuable time
sewing your embroidery,
you deserve to have it framed with care and attention.
When we frame
tapestries and embroideries, we stretch
them over card without using any glue or adhesives.
This ensures the embroidery does not become damaged
or discoloured.
Some of our customers
bring their embroideries to us
already laced which means it is then not necessary for
us to stretch them.
There are many
different ways to frame embroideries some
of which are displayed here.
Often with embroideries it is advisable to put a mount on
as well as a frame so that the glass is not touching the stitching.
If your embroidery has
beads or other objects sewn onto it,
we can either put mounts on to raise the glass or we can put a
float mount on which creates more depth to the mount.
